How do I find a recently sealed court case?
When the Clerk of Court receives the order of the court to seal records as confidential, the Clerk lists those cases publicly for a period of not less than 30 days, in compliance with Rule 2.420 of the Florida Judicial Administration.(PDF, 1MB)

How can I find my Court Record?
ClerkNet is a secure public records service that allows free, online access to a wide range of Sarasota County Court Records. Registration is not required to search the records database anonymously, access basic case information, and view images of documents where permitted by law. Access is granted pursuant to the Florida Supreme Court; some documents are protected or sealed by the Court.
I can’t find a record. What do I do?
If a record has been sealed or expunged, it will not be in the database and will not appear in a search result. If you would like further assistance, contact your attorney or our Public Access Department.
