Treasury Management
As custodian of county funds, the Sarasota County Clerk and Comptroller invests public funds, with preservation of principal as its objective while maximizing returns of investments. Treasury Management is responsible for managing the county's banking relationships and cash forecasting process. Sarasota County's investment portfolio is proactively managed by an investment professional. The policy is based upon requirements in the Florida Statute.
