1. Take I-75 to exit 210 (FL-780 W / Fruitville Road - Toward Sarasota / St. Armand's, Mote Aquarium / Gulf Beaches).
2. Travel approximately 5 miles west to East Avenue.
3. Turn left on East Avenue, heading south.
4. Turn right on Main Street, heading west.
5. The Sarasota County Historic Courthouse will be on your left.

Customer parking for the Clerk and Comptroller's Sarasota Main Office is available on Main Street, Ringling Boulevard, in the nearby Sarasota County Parking Garage, and throughout the Judicial District.

  Northeast corner of Main Street and U.S. 301 / Washington Blvd., directly across Main Street from the Historic Courthouse. Enter from Fletcher Avenue.

  Southeast corner of Ringling Boulevard and School Avenue, one block east of the Historic Courthouse. Enter from School Avenue. Parking available in the lot and on five floors of parking garage.

• Ringling Boulevard, on-street parking:
  North side, adjacent to the main entrance to the Historic Courthouse, two spaces.
  This provides street-level access to the Clerk and Comptroller's office.
• Main Street, on-street parking:
  South side, between the Historic Courthouse and the Sheriff's Jail entrance, one space.
  This provides ramp-access to the Law and Order Cafe and the Historic Courtroom.
• Main Street, County Surface Parking Lot:
  Northeast corner of Main Street and U.S. 301 (a.k.a. Washington Blvd.), multiple spaces.
   Visitors to the Clerk and Comptroller's office will need to cross Main Street.

Accessible Entrances

  Street-level access to the Clerk and Comptroller's office is from the Ringling Boulevard entrance only.
• Sarasota County Historic Courtroom and Law and Order Cafe
  Ramp-access to the Historic Courtroom and the Law and Order Cafe is available from the east side of the Historic Courthouse, accessible from Main Street.

The Clerk and Comptroller supports Sarasota County with County Finance, Inspector General / Internal Audit, and Board Services located in the Sarasota County Administration Center, off Fruitville Road, east of I-75.

The Clerk and Comptroller's Sarasota (North County) Jury office is located in the Judge Lynn N. Silvertooth Judicial Center, on the southeast corner of Ringling Boulevard and U.S. 301 (a.k.a. Washington Boulevard).

Jurors summoned to report in Sarasota (North County) at the Silvertooth Judicial Center are instructed to park in the Sarasota County Public Parking Garage.

Southeast corner of Ringling Boulevard and School Avenue, one block east of the Silvertooth Judicial Center. Enter from School Avenue. Parking available in the lot and on five floors of the parking garage.

Please Note: Jurors should display their Juror Parking Permit (located on their Jury Summons) on the dashboard of their vehicle. All other parking is subject to time limits and parking enforcement, except within the parking garage.

We recommend all jurors park in the Sarasota County Public Parking Garage.

  Southeast corner of Ringling Boulevard and School Avenue, one block east of the Silvertooth Judicial Center. Enter from School Avenue.
  Spaces are available near the elevators on all five floors.
  
  
• Ringling Boulevard:
  South side of the street, west of the Silvertooth Judicial Center.
  This offers street-level parking for the Silvertooth Judicial Center.

The Clerk provides a full-service branch office in Venice located inside the South County Courthouse.

Jurors report the R.L. Anderson Administrative Center next door to the South County Courthouse.

2. Travel approximately 5 miles south to U.S. 41 (S. Tamiami Trail).
3. Turn right onto U.S. 41.
4. Make a U-turn at Englewood Road.
5. The R.L. Anderson Administration Center will be on your right, adjacent to the Florida Highway Patrol office.

Public Parking

Customer parking for the Clerk and Comptroller's Venice Branch office at the South County Courthouse is available in any of the three lots surrounding the building.

Jury Parking

Jurors summoned to report in Venice (South County) at the R.L. Anderson Administration Building are instructed to park in the open lot on the west side of the building. For a diagram, view the view the Venice Juror Parking Map(PDF, 206KB).

Please Note: Jurors should display their Juror Parking Permit (located on their Jury Summons) on the dashboard of their vehicle.

Disabled Parking

Parking designated for those displaying a disabled parking permit is available in the following locations.

• Northeast side, adjacent to the ramp access and closest to S. Tamiami Trail, two spaces.
• East side, facing Annex Road, four spaces.
• South side, six spaces.

Accessible Entrances

• Ramp-access to the R.L. Anderson Administration Center is on the northeast side of the building.
• Entrances on the south and east side of the building require one step up at the curb.
