The Sarasota County Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller, Karen E. Rushing, has authorized tools to help citizens protect themselves against various types of scams and fraudulent activity. Our office issues Consumer Alerts about schemes in which bad actors pose as employees of this Office (and other offices) in an attempt to scam citizens.
