The Sarasota County Clerk’s Office does not process applications or issue passports. We can assist you with an appointment to prepare your passport application, and we can accept your application to submit to the US. Department of State (fees apply). How do I begin the passport application process?

If you need additional help, please schedule an appointment to visit one of our office locations in Sarasota or Venice. Our Passport Acceptance Agents can assist with:
- Answering your questions about passport application forms and documents to submit
- Taking your passport photo (appointment required) link to be created
- Mailing a completed application to the State Department for you (fees apply)
