
SARASOTA, FL – The Hon. Karen E. Rushing, Sarasota County Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller, is pleased to announce the completion of the Fiscal Year 2025 IMPACT Report for Sarasota County. The report, also called the Popular Annual Financial Report, or PAFR, is a guide designed to provide the citizens of Sarasota County with a better understanding of where county revenues come from and how dollars were spent during the past fiscal year. It is one of the fiscal responsibilities of the Clerk of Circuit Court and County Comptroller’s office, whose goal is to meet and exceed the expectations of our community through open and transparent government.
Since 2012, the Sarasota County Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller’s office has received the Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting award for its IMPACT Report from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA). This national award recognizes conformance with the highest standards for preparation of state and local government popular reports. It is one of the key indicators used to ensure integrity in financial reporting.
