The Deadline to Submit Unclaimed Moneys Claim is Friday, August 30, 2019
Pursuant to Florida Statute Chapter §116.21, a list of unclaimed moneys held by Karen E. Rushing, Sarasota County Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller, is published in the July 26, 2019 edition of the Gulf Coast Business Review. Persons having or claiming interest in such funds (payees) shall file their written claim with the Clerk and Comptroller on or before August 30, 2019. After such date, the unclaimed moneys shall be declared forfeit to the Clerk and Comptroller.
To file a written claim, an Affidavit for Stop Payment form must be completed, notarized, and received by the Clerk and Comptroller's office on or before August 30, 2019.
