Clerk and Comptroller's Main Street Office Entrance Temporarily Closes to Pedestrians Starting May 7
The restoration of Sarasota's Historic Courthouse is in its final phase. In preparation, starting Monday, May 7, the Main Street entrance into the Historic Courthouse and Clerk and Comptroller's Office will be closed to all pedestrians, as Sarasota County historic and preservation specialists complete restorative work on the courthouse tower.
During the closure of the Main Street entrance, customers will continue to have access to the Clerk and Comptroller's Office via the entrance on Ringling Boulevard. For couples wishing to be married at the courthouse, the Marriage Parlor and Historic Courtroom remain open and available for your special day.
